These photos were taken during a heavy fall of pea sized sleet. It looked as if the sleet was mixed with hail. The streets and sidewalks in Midtown became covered quickly. The lightning was accompanied by loud thunder. The thunderstorms were present from approximately 7:35 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again from approximately 8:15 p.m. through 8:45 p.m. The temperature during the past hour in Midtown was 32 to 33 degrees.
